Fractional CO2 laser is a very effective therapy for facial rejuvenation. The CO2 laser energy is delivered in a fractional manner, creates very thin and spaced columns of thermal energy that penetrate deep into the skin. Formation of new collagen occurs. The skin tissue between the columns of thermal ablation is spared, resulting in faster recovery period. The results are tightening of skin, reduction of fine wrinkle, improving skin color and complexion. Other common indictions are acne scar, hypertrophic scar, superficial pigmented lesion and melasma, skin tags, keratosis, xanthelasma, syringoma, rhinophyma, among others.
